Quienes Somos
La Casa de la Luz es un proyecto educativo situado en el municipio de Tarifa, Cádiz. Sus orígenes datan del año 2007, cuando un grupo de familias comprometidas con la crianza y la educación de sus hijos e hijas, comienzaron a reunirse para reflexionar, debatir y compartir sobre qué educación creían más conveniente para ellos.
Fruto de este proceso surgió la Asociación Manawee, con unos principios de identidad bien definidos y unas intenciones educativas claras y concretas.
La Casa de la Luz es la materialización de un sueño. Un proyecto de vida que surge de las inquietudes de un grupo de personas que entienden que la educación necesita nuevos planteamientos. Aunando nuestras ideas comunes y creciendo a partir de nuestras diferencias, proponemos alternativas al sistema educativo tradicional.
A lo largo de estos 10 años el proyecto ha ido madurando, afianzándose y definiéndose como un proyecto de innovación pedagógica, que bebe de distintas fuentes y utiliza distintos recursos en su propuesta educativa.
Somos padres y madres completamente comprometidos con el desarrollo, creciemiento y bienestar general de lo más preciado que tenemos, nuestr@s hij@s, y es por ello que nos interesamos, estudiamos y formamos buscando modelos educativos, que acompñanes a los cambios sociales y que permitan introducir nuevos paradigmas en beneficio del desarrollo del ser humano en su totalidad.
La fuerza de nuestro proyecto reside en una firme convicción en lo que hacemos. La ilusión de ofrecer un proyecto educativo que ayuda a desarrollarse de manera íntegra y que busca la felicidad de todos los miembros de la comunidad. Un centro de convivencia en el que todas y cada una de las personas que a él acuden, se contagian de los demás para crecer en todos los sentidos.
La Casa de la Luz is an educational project located in the municipality of Tarifa, Cadiz. It started life in 2007 when a group of families committed to the upbringing and education of their children began to meet up to discuss, reflect and share their ideas of the type of education they wanted for them.
As a result of this process the Asociacion Manawee was born, with a well-defined identity and some clear and concrete educational intentions.
La Casa de la Luz is the materialization of a dream. A life project which came about from the concerns of a group of people who together understood that education needs new approaches. By uniting our common ideas and growing from our differences, we propose alternatives to the traditional educational system.
During these 10 years the project has matured, defining itself and securing its position as an innovative pedagogic project, which draws from different sources and utilizes different resources within its approach to education.
We are Fathers and Mothers completely committed to the development, growth and general wellbeing of the most precious things we have, our children. It is because of them that we research, study and educate ourselves, looking for educational models that accompany the social changes which allow the introduction of new paradigms for the benefit of the complete and holistic development of each human being.
The strength of our project rests in a firm conviction of what we do. The desire to offer an educational project which helps to develop the individual in an integral way and that seeks the happiness of all the members of the community. A place of shared experiences where all involved are influenced and motivated by one another to grow in every sense.
